Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
The short version: Bibi does not collect your data. Everything you log stays on your device and inside the iMessage conversations you choose to share it in. We run no servers, require no account, and use no analytics, ads, or trackers. We couldn't read your baby's data even if we wanted to.
Who we are
Bibi is a baby-care tracking app for iMessage made by DiNerd Apps ("we", "us"). You can reach us at dinerdapps@outlook.com. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter into Bibi.
What Bibi stores, and where
When you use Bibi, you may enter information such as:
- Care events — feeds, diaper changes, sleep, medication doses, and temperature readings.
- A baby profile — for example a name or nickname and date of birth.
- Notes, photos, or "moments" you choose to attach.
- App preferences, such as your preferred measurement units.
All of this is stored locally on your device, in Bibi's own private storage. It is never uploaded to us or to any third party by the app. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access it.
Sharing through iMessage
Bibi lives inside the Messages app. When you send a card, summary, or backup, that content travels through Apple's iMessage service to the people in that conversation — exactly like any other message you send. Apple protects iMessage with end-to-end encryption; we are not part of that transmission and cannot see it.
Once you share something in a conversation, the recipients have a copy, just as with any message. Share baby information only with people you trust, such as a co-parent or caregiver.
What we collect: nothing
- No accounts. Bibi never asks for your name, email, or phone number.
- No analytics or tracking. We use no analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or third-party trackers of any kind.
- No ads. Bibi shows no advertising.
- No third-party services. The only web content the app ever loads is this page and our Terms of Use.
Bibi's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
Purchases
Bibi is free and currently contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads. If we ever add optional purchases, they would be processed entirely by Apple through the App Store — we would never see your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID — and this policy would be updated first. Apple's handling of App Store data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
Bibi is made for adults — parents and caregivers — and is not directed at children. The app records information about a baby, but that information is entered by you, stays under your control on your device and in your conversations, and is never collected by us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.
Your data, your control
- To delete your data, delete the Bibi app from your device. Copies you shared in conversations can be removed by deleting those messages, subject to how Messages works on recipients' devices.
- To back up your data, use Bibi's backup feature, which attaches a backup to your conversation. Your device's normal iCloud or local backups may also include Bibi's local data, under Apple's backup terms.
- Nothing to request from us. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or erase on our end — rights under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA are satisfied by the fact that we collect nothing.
Changes to this policy
If Bibi ever changes in a way that affects your privacy — for example, if a future feature introduced any data collection — we will update this policy first and note the change prominently, and where required, ask for your consent. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
