Terms of Use

Bibi is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It is a logbook. Nothing in the app — including temperature tracking, medication logging, or diaper guidance — is a substitute for the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional. If you are worried about your baby's health, contact your pediatrician. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and DiNerd Apps ("we", "us") governing your use of the Bibi app for iMessage ("Bibi" or "the app"). By downloading or using Bibi, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Bibi.
2. What Bibi is
Bibi is a baby-care tracking tool that runs inside Apple's Messages app. It lets parents and caregivers log care events — feeds, diapers, sleep, medication, temperature, and moments — and share them in an iMessage conversation. All data you enter is stored on your device and in the messages you send; we operate no servers and hold no copy of your data.
3. Not medical advice
- Bibi records what you enter. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition.
- Any reference content in the app (such as general diaper or stool guidance) is provided for convenience and general information only. It may not apply to your child.
- Medication logging is a memory aid, not a dosing tool. Always follow the instructions of your pediatrician or pharmacist, and verify doses independently before giving any medication.
- Never delay seeking, or disregard, professional medical advice because of something recorded or displayed in Bibi.
4. Your data and backups
Because your data lives only on your device and in your conversations, you are responsible for backing it up. If you delete the app without a backup, your history may be permanently lost. Bibi's in-thread backup feature and your device's standard backups are the recovery paths. We cannot recover data for you — we never had it.
You are also responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for choosing who you share it with. Sharing a card or backup in a conversation gives everyone in that conversation a copy.
5. Price
Bibi is currently free to download and use, with no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads. If we ever introduce optional purchases, they would be processed by Apple through your App Store account under Apple's terms, and these Terms would be updated first.
6. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Bibi on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the app, except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction. The app, its design, and its content (other than the data you enter) belong to us. Your data is yours.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use Bibi only for its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable law. Do not use the app to harass others, to interfere with the app or Apple's services, or in any situation where an error or loss of data could lead to harm.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Bibi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Bibi. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us through the app in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Apple's role
These Terms are between you and DiNerd Apps, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Bibi and is not responsible for the app, its content, or any claims relating to it (including product liability, legal compliance, and intellectual property claims). In the event Bibi fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, to the extent required; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list.
11. Termination
You can stop using Bibi at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate this license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.
12. Changes
We may update Bibi and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept a change, stop using the app.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section deprives you of protections you are entitled to under the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live.
