CT Jobs does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details to use the app. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personally identifiable information.
📱 Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server:
- Jobs you have saved as favorites (stored by job ID)
- Your app preferences (such as sort order and filter settings)
- A temporary cache of job listings (refreshed every 30 minutes, used for faster load times)
This data exists only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
🌐 Network Requests
CT Jobs makes the following network requests:
- CT State Jobs API — The app fetches publicly available Connecticut state government job listings. No personal information is included in these requests.
- Apply Links — When you tap the Apply button, the official CT state jobs website loads inside the app. Your interaction with that website is governed by the State of Connecticut's own privacy policy.
- Terms & Privacy Pages — These web pages are loaded inside the app when requested.
No user identifiers, device identifiers, or behavioral data are included in any of these requests.
✨ AI Features (On-Device Only)
CT Jobs includes two AI-powered features:
- AI Job Summary — Generates a plain-language summary of a selected job posting.
- AI Job Match — Matches your description of an ideal role against open CT state positions.
Both features use Apple's on-device AI model (Apple Intelligence). No data — including your job descriptions or queries — is ever transmitted to any external server. All AI processing happens entirely on your iPhone. Apple's on-device model does not learn from or store your inputs.
📊 Analytics & Advertising
CT Jobs does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting SDKs, or advertising networks. We have no visibility into how you use the app.
👶 Children's Privacy
CT Jobs is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we collect no personal information from any user, no special measures for children's data are required beyond this policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
