4. Translation Data & Google Translate

When you use the Translate tab, the text you enter is sent to Google's Cloud Translation API over HTTPS. Google's privacy policy applies to this data. We do not store your translation input on our servers. Google may use this data in accordance with their own terms. Please review Google's Privacy Policy.

5. On-Device AI (Ask AI Tab)

The Ask AI feature runs entirely on your device using on-device language models. Your questions and the AI responses are never transmitted to Di Nerd Apps LLC or any third-party server. No data from the Ask AI chat leaves your device.

6. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use Firebase (by Google) for analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring. All analytics data is anonymised and aggregated. We do not link analytics data to your identity. You can opt out of analytics data collection in your iOS device settings under Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, or by contacting us.

7. Advertising

Free users of Jamaica AI may see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers to show relevant ads. Upgrading to Jamaica AI Pro removes all advertising permanently. For more information, see Google Ads Privacy.

8. In-App Purchases

Jamaica AI Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely through Apple's App Store. Di Nerd Apps LLC does not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs the purchase transaction.

9. Data Retention

Translation history is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time from the app. Analytics data is retained by Firebase per their standard retention policies. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

10. Children's Privacy

Jamaica AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. We use HTTPS for all network communication. API keys are stored securely and never embedded in client-facing code. Local data is stored using iOS native storage which benefits from device-level encryption.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
