Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Snake & Ladda iMessage app and its companion iOS app (together, the "App"), published by Di Nerd Apps LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Snake & Ladda is a free game for playing Snakes & Ladders with 2–4 players inside Apple's Messages app. The current version contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms (including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement).

3. Fair use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where applicable law permits;
• tamper with game messages with the intent to corrupt or falsify another player's game (the App detects and rejects tampered game states);
• use the App in any way that violates applicable law or Apple's terms.

4. Game messages

Games are played by exchanging iMessage bubbles between participants of a conversation. Those messages belong to the conversation like any other message you send. We do not operate servers, hold copies of games, or moderate conversations; delivery and storage of messages is handled by Apple's iMessage service.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its artwork, board designs, text, and code, is owned by Di Nerd Apps LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. The traditional game of Snakes & Ladders itself is public domain; our expression of it is not. "Snake & Ladda" and the Di Nerd Apps name and logos may not be used without our prior written permission.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue the App (or any feature of it) at any time without notice. Updates may be required to keep playing games started on newer versions. We are not obligated to provide support, updates, or maintenance.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any game state will be preserved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Di Nerd Apps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for it — which, for this free App, is zero.

9. Apple's role

These Terms are between you and Di Nerd Apps LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under them end automatically if you fail to comply with any term. On termination, you must stop using the App and delete it.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this page with its effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Di Nerd Apps LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
